The Selah Community Covenant
Anyone can stream on Selah. Everyone who streams or chats agrees to live out these eight commitments. They are how we keep Selah a place where families, churches, and new believers all feel at home.
- Speak with grace. No profanity, crude joking, or cursing at others.Ephesians 4:29, Colossians 4:6
- Keep it pure. No sexual content, suggestive clothing or dancing, or nudity.Philippians 4:8, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4
- Love your neighbor. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or mocking anyone for their race, sex, age, disability, or church background.Mark 12:31, James 3:9-10
- Be honest. No scams, fake giveaways, impersonation, or misleading titles.Proverbs 12:22
- Choose wholesome entertainment. Games and media should avoid graphic gore, glorified violence, occult practices, and sexual content.Philippians 4:8
- No substance abuse or gambling. No drinking, drug use, vaping, or gambling and betting on stream.Ephesians 5:18
- Disagree with love. Respectful conversation between Christian traditions is welcome. Attacking other believers or denominations is not.Romans 14:1, 2 Timothy 2:24
- Protect the young. Never share personal details of minors. Streamers under 18 need a parent's consent.Matthew 18:6
When someone breaks the Covenant
Warning→24-hour suspension→7-day suspension→Permanent ban
Serious violations, such as sexual content, threats, or anything that endangers a minor, lead straight to a permanent ban and, where the law requires, a report to the authorities. Every decision can be appealed once. We aim to correct gently and restore whenever we can (Galatians 6:1).
